🚀 New Project Demo: Send Messages to WhatsApp using Next.js, TypeScript & PostgreSQL
I'm excited to share a new demo project I recently built — a lightweight web application that allows users to send messages to WhatsApp directly from a web interface.
This demo is not only a fun exploration into WhatsApp messaging automation, but also a showcase of building scalable and maintainable apps using a clean, modern tech stack:
🔧 Tech Stack Frontend: React + TypeScript
Framework: Next.js
Backend: API routes via Next.js
Database: PostgreSQL
Other tools: Prisma ORM, Tailwind CSS (for styling), and WhatsApp Business API / third-party service integration
🧪 What the App Can Do Send a WhatsApp message to any verified number or Whatsapp Group (with the right access level)
Clean UI with form validation
Simple backend API to trigger the message logic
Secure database integration using PostgreSQL
It’s a great starting point for integrating WhatsApp into customer service platforms, CRMs, or notification systems.
👨💻 Why I Built This I’m constantly experimenting with real-world use cases that combine communication and automation. With WhatsApp being such a dominant channel globally, especially in business communication, this was the perfect sandbox to build something useful while diving deeper into modern full-stack development.
